Full Description
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a proactive and results-oriented Team Lead to join our Game Operations department. This role combines leadership, operational excellence, and product expertise to guide a team of Game Operations Specialists in ensuring accurate, high-quality live tracking/eventing validation across football and basketball leagues worldwide.
As the main point of contact between your team and department leadership, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, supporting professional growth, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of live operations, managing workload distribution, and leading improvement initiatives across the area.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:

- Lead and manage a team of Game Operations Specialists, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth execution of live tracking/eventing validation across sports leagues.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support team development by identifying coaching needs, delivering ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth.
- Ensure alignment with departmental objectives and maintain clear communication about operational and organizational updates.
- Coordinate and contribute to strategic and non-operational projects aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and innovation.
- Prepare detailed performance and progress reports to support leadership in decision-making.
- Promote operational excellence and uphold company standards in all aspects of data and team management.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING:

- Proven leadership and communication skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong understanding of sports dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage remote teams and coordinate across multiple time zones.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust and foster a supportive team culture.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proactive, adaptable, and open to feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement.
