Full Description
The Fleet Supervisor will oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing all aspects of the fleet, including purchase, maintenance, safety, insurance and budget management for the full fleet of vehicles. The Fleet supervisor will collaborate with various departments to ensure the fleet supports the company’s operational needs effectively as the nature of each department is a bit different. Our fleet consists of employee company cars, Red Bull Mini coopers and Red Bull event cars.

COMPLIANCE, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS:
Ensure all vehicles comply with local regulations, including safety standards.
Coordinate regular maintenance schedules to ensure all vehicles are in the best working condition ensuring the safety of the employees and in line with Red Bull policies and standards.
Oversee maintenance and address any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain relationships with service providers and negotiate service contracts.
Validate the required spare parts needed prior any change to ensure no unnecessary cost being paid.
FLEET TRACKING AND REPORTING:
Implement and maintain fleet tracking systems to monitor vehicle usage, spend and performance.
Update regular reports on fleet status, including usage, costs, and maintenance schedules.
Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Manage the fleet management service provider and report lead time of the service taken.
Report performance and KPI of the fleet management service provider.
BUDGETING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
Plan and manage the fleet budget, including costs for purchase, maintenance, fuel, insurance and operating costs.
Monitor expenses and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Validate the cost shared and ensure as per the contractual agreement.
Invoice revision and service tracking for the fleet management service provider.
INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT:
Ensure all vehicles are properly insured and manage claims related to accidents or incidents.
Develop risk management strategies to minimize potential liabilities associated with fleet operations.
Update insurance tracking folder to control spend and manage reimbursements.
TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION:
updated on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technologies.
Implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs, such as telematics systems and electric vehicles.
Fuel cards management, tracking and reporting.
Implement dashboards for better visibility and tracking for the full fleet.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 2-3 years of experience in fleet management, automotive, transportation, or a related field.
- Understanding of fleet management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle maintenance needs.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and tools.
- Understanding of safety standards related to fleet operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle unexpected issues and make quick, effective decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse team with passion to grow the scope and
