Full Description
The IRFU are inviting applications for the role of Financial Reporting Executive.
The successful candidate will prepare monthly Financial Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliations, support the preparation of the year end Statutory Consolidated Financial Statements and Annual Report, and manage the month end and year end close processes to support accurate and timely management reporting, as well as other activities as outlined in the job description.
The position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis. The role will be based at our Head Office, 10-12 Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly Financial Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Support the preparation of the year end Statutory Consolidated Financial Statements and Annual Report
- Manage the month end and year end close processes to support accurate and timely management reporting
- Support the Tax and Statutory Corporate Compliance processes for the Union and all subsidiary companies, including VAT returns.
- Assisting in the planning, coordinating and management of all Internal and External Audits
- Monitoring, recording and reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
- Assist in maintaining the Financial Procedures Manual identifying and implementing process improvements
- Support various digital transformation and financial projects
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be determined by the Head of Finance and CFO.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in month end reporting, financial accounts preparation and audit planning
- Strong technical accounting, risk, compliance and analytical skills
- Proactive, detail orientated, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to plan, think strategically and work independently
- Experience in ERP implementations would be an advantage
Salary for this role is depending on experience.
