In this role you will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of payments to employees and suppliers for our global business. You will work closely with international Payroll Team, ensuring standard payroll deadlines are met and urgent off-cycle payments are processed. As Payments team member, you will actively participate in the preparation and approval processes of weekly payment runs for the group’s entities all over the world in multiple currencies. In addition, you will maintain regular contact with our global banks to resolve any issues. You will also be expected to reconcile payments and co-operate with the cash management team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing weekly cash requirement for payment run
  • Ensuring payroll inputs are provided and processed on time, in accordance with payroll calendar
  • Processing manual and automatic payments in multiple banking platforms
  • Participating in and monitoring bank approval process
  • Investigating failed payments and reporting issues to bank representative
  • Updating Standard Operating Procedures and identifying potential process improvements opportunities
  • Communicating effectively with other teams to secure high quality and professional accounting service
     

Requirements:

  • Student/University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economy would be a plus
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP system, i.e. Oracle would be an asset
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills
  • Team player with perfect communication skills
