Financial Accountant

F1 are looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team on an 18 month fixed-term contract based in our Biggin Hill campus . This is a unique opportunity for a bright ACA qualified accountant to gain significant exposure to a dynamic finance environment.

Reporting into the Head of Financial Accounting & Reporting, you will:

• Assistance with structured group month-end close.
• Act as primary support for the accounting function of certain subsidiaries.
• Monthly consolidation of group companies.
• Involvement in the budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries/functions.
• Preparation of client assistant package for auditors.
• Liaison with auditors.
• Ad hoc projects.

Educational background:

• ACA qualified
• Ideally completed training at a Big 4 firm

Experience:

• Exposure to multi-currency consolidations and large group structures.
• Excel skills are a prerequisite.
• Good IFRS knowledge is required.
• US GAAP knowledge/exposure would be beneficial.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics would be very helpful.

Note:

• The position is based in Biggin Hill, Kent. The candidate needs to have their own transport and live within an hour's commute of Biggin Hill.
