WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Finance Planning Lead, India reports into the Senior Director, Finance for Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) and will play a key role partnering across the Nike India Leadership Team, in addition to working closely with the SEA&I and Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) Finance teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Finance Planning Lead, India, who will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong financial and commercial understanding. This role will require them to provide critical financial insights through the interpretation of financial results - including trends, risks, and opportunities to drive timely and actionable decisions. They will need to have a strong strategic mindset and be able to influence through effective communication skills. This role provides a great opportunity to make a significant impact at NIKE.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
8+ years broad finance experience financial analysis, financial/strategic planning
Deep understanding of local India business laws, policies, and regulations
Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and run financial models
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers
Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Proven business partnership experience working with cross-functional partners is preferred
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As part of the SEA&I Finance Planning team, you will be leading the financial portfolio of our India business, partnering across our wider Finance team and key cross-functional stakeholders. With this you will drive the business modelling, sizing up opportunities and investments required to achieve long-term growth strategies in partnership with the Nike India leadership team.
Develop and maintain the marketplace business cases and financial models; tracking and monitoring KPIs aligning to strategic priorities
Perform analysis on results and business trends, delivering insights for decision making
Review and manage financial performance across the portfolio through guidance setting aligned to functional strategic principles and objectives
Partner and influence across wide-ranging stakeholders including Nike India GM, Strategic Planning, Brand Marketing, Marketplace, Supply Chain and Planning
