ROLE OVERVIEW: RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Reporting directly to the CFO Italy, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial activities. Key objectives include:
- Planning: Defining the company budget, forecasting cash flows, and analyzing variances against targets.
- Cost Control and Management: Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing management accounts and interim financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations as well as international standards.
- Strategic Support: Drafting reports, defining KPIs, and interpreting them to support strategic decision-making.
As a key member of the finance team, the role will significantly contribute to the effective and sustainable management of the company’s financial resources. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will support senior management in achieving strategic goals and, through risk management skills, analytical capabilities, proficiency with financial tools, and problem-solving abilities, will act as a true business partner.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to interact effectively with both the international team and internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Initially, the role will involve managing one direct report, with the goal of expanding responsibilities by building a controlling team dedicated to various business lines.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Economics or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a multinational environment, preferably in the retail sector
- Business/Professional level English proficiency (B2 or C1)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP is a plus
