Finance Assistant – FP&A

The finance assistant will support the FP&A Team and the Accounting Team in performing the finance activities connected with for various entities of Deltatre Group located in Europe and US.

Please note, for this role you must be able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days working in the Mumbai office in Goregaon.

Main responsibilities may include:

• Prepare monthly settlement reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Record journal entries to offset revenue share against settlements
• Distribute monthly settlements to clients and coordinate the collection of related invoices
• Journalize client settlement invoices in the accounting system
• Work with Accounting team to approve settlement payment to Clients before they are processed in the bank
• Support Accounting team in accurately applying settlement payments to Clients in the accounting system
• Perform, in coordination with the Accounting team, the monthly indirect tax reconciliations between internal reporting and our tax software (AvaTax) to ensure alignment
• Support the Accounting team in the preparation of indirect tax invoices to clients
• Support the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns
• Obtain, calculate and input variable usage amounts for customer billing and revenue calculations
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team.

• 3 + years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• All communication is in English, thus excellent English skills is a must
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Oracle Netsuite accounting software experience desirable but not essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
