Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for our new Regent Street store in London. You’ll drive brand engagement through social media, in-store events, CRM, and campaign execution—working closely with partners, talent, and internal teams to create standout experiences for collectors. This role reports to the UK Director of Marketing and is based in our London office.
We're looking for a flexible, hands-on marketer with strong problem-solving skills, a team-first attitude, and a passion for sports, culture, and entertainment to drive in-store traffic, enhance customer engagement, and create compelling marketing campaigns that capture the energy of collectibles culture and sports fandom
Role Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Execution
- Develop and implement compelling marketing strategies specifically for the flagship store in the UK, in line with wider UK & EMEA marketing strategy.
- Serve as the voice of the store within the larger Fanatics Collectibles brand, ensuring all touchpoints reflect our values and identity.
- Oversee end to end production and placement of in-store graphics and POS materials for product launches, campaigns, and education
- Oversee creation of digital screen content (video and still) in partnership with design teams
Content & Social media management
- Lead the store’s social media & content strategy aligned with the Fanatics Collectibles brand and local priorities
- Plan and execute social media content daily to amplify store activities, key events and develop a community for the store
- Work closely with wider social media teams to find synergies in product/content roll out plans and ensure store social channels are aligned to with social media best practices
- Managing customer service queries through social media with relevant internal customer service team
Community and partnership management
- Manage the run-of-show of the Breaking Studio, including talent scheduling and on-site execution working closely with Fanatics Live team
- Build relationships with key internal and external partners including Fanatics Live, Fanatics Collect, Agile Retail to deliver effective plans
- Working with agency partners ensure community events are aligned to tone of voice and brand guidelines
Event and project management
- Plan and manage the in-store event calendar with store teams, internal teams, partners, and athletes
- Develop project timelines, critical paths, and key deliverables to ensure seamless execution of in-store marketing initiatives.
Budget and financial management
- Manage and optimize promotional and advertising budgets for the flagship store, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals
Cross functional collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, commercial, partnerships and athlete partnerships to build out store plans to meet wider business needs.
- Manage store CRM efforts in partnership with the Performance Marketing team, including campaign planning, testing, and rollout
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in brand, retail, event marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing with a strong understanding of the UK market.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful retail marketing campaigns.
- A creative storyteller with experience owning social media strategy and content development, ideally in retail, sports, or lifestyle brands
- Skilled in planning and executing experiential retail events, with a track record of working cross-functionally with partners, talent, or athletes
- Strong visual merchandising instincts: understands how to deploy in-store graphics and POS materials that drive conversion and brand education
- Comfortable managing live or recorded content production, with a bias toward action and operational excellence in dynamic environments
- Data-informed marketer familiar with CRM tools and campaign execution; experience partnering across teams to test and optimize messaging
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
