We are looking for a contract Experiential Marketing Coordinator (June - September) to work on our Brand Experience (BX) team who has strong event production, and planning work experience through a mix of agency, brand or similar industries.
The Role
The Experiential Marketing Coordinator (June - September) will be responsible and manage all onsite aspects of activations and sponsorship events for one specific client. This will include managing a team of Brand Ambassadors to deliver program objectives, event set up and coordination and event management.
This is not your typical Monday - Friday, 9-5 job. You will be traveling across Canada, with evening and weekend work required. Up to 75% of your time will be spent in field.
Onsite Execution (75%)
- Act as Field Manager and on-site lead when on site during set up, execution, and tear down of events and brand activations.
- Lead and manage a team of brand ambassadors, including training, schedule creation, uniform distribution, on-site supervision, and post-event reporting.
- Client liaison, managing expectations onsite
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Working as a part of a larger BX team to engage with our clients and maintain strong relationships and effectively communicate project updates and progress.
Program Planning (25%)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, creative, production, and vendors, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and deliver high-quality results within established parameters.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience, agency experience considered an asset.
- Self-starter who can own, lead and complete work with limited supervision.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong understanding of live event production practices and processes.
- Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude that knows how to own outcomes.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Can multitask, prioritize work and jump in and out of projects.
- Comfortable with writing and presenting (ideas, reports, call agendas, etc.).
