Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
To enhance and support the operations of our Medical Operations Center (MOC), we are urgently seeking experienced professionals capable of immediately integrating into our management and monitoring processes.
We are looking for candidates with immediate availability for a position based directly at the MOC headquarters, who possess one of the following experience profiles.
Good knowledge of English is required.
Requirements
Required Profile and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must meet the requirements of one of the following two profiles:
A) Healthcare Expert Profile
Healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, nurses, biologists, epidemiologists, or other relevant health figures) whose prior experience can provide a specialized contribution to the MOC's operations.
Specific Requirements (Profile A):
- Proven Experience: Solid experience required in at least one of the following domains:
- Public Health and Prevention.
- Management of Healthcare Operations Centers (e.g., emergency medical services, monitoring centers).
- Epidemiology and health data analysis.
- Health emergency or mass casualty management.
- Analytical and Reporting Skills: The candidate's experience must be immediately applicable to daily operations, including the ability to analyze data and actively contribute to the preparation of daily reports on health activities.
- Problem Solving: Strong capabilities in managing complex scenarios and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
OR
B) Operations Expert Profile (Non-Medical)
Non-medical personnel with consolidated experience in the coordination and management of complex operational workflows, specifically gained in emergency response contexts.
Specific Requirements (Profile B):
- Proven Experience: Documentable prior experience in managing:
- Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) (e.g., Civil Protection, 112/NUE or equivalent emergency numbers).
- Rescue Coordination Centers (e.g., Fire Brigade, Law Enforcement, or similar).
- Organizational Skills: Excellent coordination, stress management, and proficiency with technological systems (call management software, GIS/geolocation systems, communication platforms).
- Workflow Management: Ability to manage critical information flows, set priorities, and coordinate field resources in real-time.
Common Requirements for All Candidates
- Availability: Immediate.
- Contract Basis: Must be able to start collaboration rapidly, preferably as a Freelancer / Independent Contractor (VAT-registered) or via similar flexible contract arrangements.
- Work Location: The position is exclusively on-site at the MOC headquarters.
- Shifts: Availability for shift work (including nights and holidays) as required by the MOC.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, ability to work in a team and under pressure, precision, and reliability.
