Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Our key focus as a department is to combine digital and data with the passion of sport to deliver performance marketing solutions that enhance the fan experience. We are a team of passionate, creative, and innovative digital experts from all around the globe who are revolutionising the digital sponsorship industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Media Executive or Paid Media Executive to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the sports industry.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a genuine enthusiasm for sports marketing and some experience within a media agency. The candidate should have a basic understanding of the digital advertising landscape, an interest in the sports industry, and the ability to spot trends and opportunities that can support our clients and the wider team. The candidate's contributions will help strengthen our services and support the team in achieving broader organisational goals.

In addition to being knowledgeable about sports marketing, the candidate should be able to work independently, taking ownership of their responsibilities and delivering results. At the same time, the candidate should be a team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve common goals. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.

This role will report into the Media Manager.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assist building paid media campaigns across various digital platforms for a range of global clients - working closely with the account team to execute against the agreed media strategy, budget and KPI's.
  • Monitor campaign performance to meet and exceed client KPIs and budgets
  • Support Media Manager with weekly, monthly and QBR reports on performance and optimisations implemented.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve campaign performance and inform strategy.
  • Continuously develop expertise in paid media tools and techniques to help the team and performance
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders gaining their confidence by demonstrating a deep understanding of key business objectives.
  • Deliver clear and concise internal and external presentations/reports
  • Feeding into new business/pitch responses in market, in terms of content and results
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviour, conduct and professionalism in all inter-personal, written and verbal communications
  • Track time and financial expenses on a day-to-day basis

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • 1-2 years of experience managing campaigns on major platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads
  • Experience in setting up paid media campaigns to meet specific KPIs (e.g., ROI, CPA, ROAS, or CTR
  • Proficiency in analysing campaign performance using data from platforms and presenting insights in clear, actionable reports.
  • Ability to manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring efficient spend and high returns.
  • Experience working in or with a media or marketing agency, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with tools like Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Ambitious self-starter who wants to make a change
  • Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
  • A willingness to grow personally and professionally with ambitious targets
  • Organised and strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment with tight project deadlines
  • Understanding and interest of the sports industry is preferred
  • A degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is often preferred but not always required if practical experience is strong.
