Role Purpose:
Fanatics International is looking for an Event Retail Logistic Coordinator to join the Event Retail Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and executing the logistical operations for Fanatics International on-site retail offer at several events which include UEFA National Team competitions, NFL, NHL, MLB International Games, England and Germany national football team home games, Major International Golf tournaments, Concerts at Wembley and Twickenham stadiums…
This position is full-time and will work a rotating schedule including days, nights, and weekends. This position will support numerous games, events and concerts held predominantly in the UK as well as other major international venues.
Responsibilities:
- Product allocation
- Sales data analytics
- Inventory management
- Collaborate with key head office functions (Logistic, IT, Finance, Merchandising…) to ensure appropriate support to your onsite operations
- Work with the warehouse and merchandising teams to ensure effective delivery schedules
- Assist in the development and implementation of any materials management systems that will enhance inventory control at Fanatics
- Provide best practice to ensure stockrooms and shops are managed efficiently
- Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
- Use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements
- Continually try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of legislation, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures
- Work on new supply strategies
- Building and organising back of house areas on event days
- Manage On-Site Stock (Unloading trucks, splitting stock, packing stock post events)
- Stock Level Management (tracking sales, moving stock across venues)
- Lifting of pallets and other heavy items around venues
The job duties list is not exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope /level of the role.
You may also be required from time to time to work additional hours including but not limited to providing support around events and hot markets. This may involve weekend and late-night working.
KnowledgeandExperience:
- 1-3 years of Related Professional Experience
- Some degree of IT literacy including Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge and the ability to handle electronic data
- Builds effective routines and processes that deliver consistency across our operations and units, and engages colleagues through the process
- Logical and systematic approach to work
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
- Commercial awareness and numeracy skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people
