Main goal

The EURO 2028 Access Manager (Project Lead) will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive access policies and procedure as well as management plans for all UEFA EURO 2028 venues and related events. This role requires close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and secure flow of vehicles and pedestrians.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing an overarching access strategy for all UEFA EURO 2028 venues and related events (e.g. final draw, logo launch) as well as for the 2026/27UEFA Nations League finals
• Developing and implementing detailed access procedures tailored to each venue, ensuring alignment with overall event objectives and mobility plans as well as compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Preparing comprehensive flow plans, dot plans, access control posters and presentations that outline the access management plan
• Coordinating the design and implementation of access devices in collaboration with UEFA in-house project teams
• Working closely with the Safety & Security team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure access procedures align with safety and security concepts
• Developing and delivering training plans to inform internal and external stakeholders about access procedures and operations and submitting regular reports and debriefs, including statistical analysis, according to guidelines and deadlines
• Overseeing on-site delivery to ensure compliance with the access strategy
• Continuously evaluating and improving access management processes and procedures by addressing and resolving any issues that arise during events and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of access management

Requirements

Experience:

  • more than 7 years of experience experience in access management at a major sport event

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in in sports/event management or similar

Languages:

  • English // proficient

Other requirements:

• Proven experience in access management or a related field, preferably within large-scale events
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for access management and planning
• Language skills: English (proficient), knowledge of French would be an asset
• IT skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
