Full Description

Responsibilities -

  • Reviewing Acceptance Criteria and Ensuring Test Coverage: Review acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure that the required test coverage is in place.
  • Writing and Maintaining Test Cases and Documentation: Create and maintain software test cases and related documentation for new features.
  • Troubleshooting and Analyzing New Features: Troubleshoot and analyze new features to ensure accuracy and detect any issues or inaccuracies.
  • Contributing to Internal Documentation: Contribute to internal troubleshooting guides, workflows, and integration documentation.
  • Perform functional, usability, performance, and load testing for web and mobile components and projects.
  • Driving Test Planning Efforts: Drive test planning efforts, and participate in spec and design review, providing insights based on product knowledge and end user interaction
  • Designing and Implementing Automated Testing Frameworks: Create solutions to optimize overall Quality Engineering efforts through automated testing.
  • Understanding Stakeholder Needs: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for supply chain automation projects..
  • Promoting Operational Excellence: Influence and drive operational excellence best practices within the organization.
  • Analyzing Business Requirements and Creating Test Plans: Ensuring that source-to-target business logic is implemented correctly.
  • Collaborating on Supply Chain Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions for automated warehouse management systems.
  • Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Keeping an eye on emerging technologies related to supply chain management.
  • Functional and Automation Testing: The role will involve both functional and automation testing.
  • Good to Have -
  • Executing Load and Performance Testing (LPT): Design and execute LPT models using open-source tools to certify software efficiency and performance under load and stress.
  • Integrating Tests into CI/CD Pipelines: Ensuring reliable software releases by integrating tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Technical requirements:

  • Must have 5-7 years of proven working experience in testing complex applications.
  • Must have strong knowledge of design, architecture, development, testing, and automation of cloud native microservices based proprietary supply chain fulfillment platforms, WMS systems like Manhattan Active, Manhattan WMOS.
  • Must have strong knowledge of functional integration touchpoints and end to end data flow in an eCommerce Order fulfillment process like Task creation, pick, pack, ship, MHE automation, Business Intelligence reporting and Machine Learning functionalities.
  • Experience in functional and integration testing Warehouse Automation systems like Unit sorter, ASRS systems etc. is a plus.
  • Experience testing and working knowledge of Transportation Management systems, Labor Management system and Order shipment rate shopping process is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting against Oracle/SQL Server databases.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process.
  • Experience working in global distributed office model.
  • Experience with performance testing is a plus.
  • Experience with Selenium Automation, TestNG, Selenium and knowledge of Java, JS is a plus.

Good To Have -

  • Experience with Retail, Supply chain is a plus.
  • Experience in Load and performance testing tools and methodologies.
