Reporting organizationally to the Head of Technical services in Mexico and to the Venue and Overlay Power Lead in Miami, the Venue Power & HVAC Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Technical Infrastructure & Services team, and work in close collaboration with other key individuals responsible for the planning and the implementation of the Power solutions at all FIFA World Cup 2026™ Venues:
- Guadalajara
- Monterrey
These are your key tasks:
- Coordinate the on-site installation activities of the Overlay Power and HVAC supplier.
- Work with key FIFA functional areas to refine the temporary electrical and HVAC requirements for the stadiums.
- Ensure the required electrical service level is provided to all areas and the stadium.
- Manage the contract with the temporary electrical installations supplier, including oversight of the scope of work, design specifications, equipment quantities and Bill of Quantities (BoQ), delivery procedures, and other operational aspects.
- Coordinate the execution of all necessary electrical tests for the temporary electrical and HVAC installations for the stadiums.
- This role focuses on on-site activities, providing direct supervision of the installation of temporary electrical systems, diesel generators, HVAC, and BESS.
- The Temporary Electrical and HVAC Installations Engineer will work during the installation phase, match days, non-match days, and the dismantling phase.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installations is required (Electrical Installations Engineer/Coordinator, Installations Lead, Electrical Supervisor/Resident).
- Experience in temporary electrical installations for festivals, sporting events, concerts, or similar events will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical regulations, UVIE requirements, and Civil Protection standards.
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of generators, ATS, HVAC, BESS, and electrical installations.
