Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Manage the Energy Operation Centre and its team, which is the single point of contact for energy operations and the hub for effective real-time information sharing and rapid resolution of problems affecting Games operations.
Ensure good communication, monitoring and reporting of the resolution of energy infrastructure issues in the field.
If necessary, act as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved at the venue level.
Support event teams in the progress monitoring process, providing central reporting to key stakeholders.
Central communication interface hub for all venue-based staff
Mapping and monitoring issues tracked by the MOC based on the energy severity level reporting process.
Coordination interface for operations of electrical facilities during Games Time;
good communication, monitoring and reporting of the resolution of power infrastructure issues in the field
escalation of the issues not solved at venue level.
Considering the relevance of this role no mitigation risks are possible except to manage the preliminary activities with the Project Office support or involving the DSO workforce with expertise in Operation
Verify the completion of all MV and LV Power installations and operational testing for both competition and non-competition venues (NRG.002.022-024-025).
Collect and process energy consumption data and prepare relevant statistics (NRG.003.001)
Manage Power down temporary supply installations (NRG.003.002)
Requirements
- Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Management Engineering or equivalent field;
- Experience in management of people working on shifts on Power Systems sector and in the project management and in Operation for similar events (preferably sports events or similar events requiring overlay set-ups) from the design phase to the on-site operation phase of the systems.
- Experience in Management of suppliers/contractors workforce and plant operation .
- Experience in design, construction, operation and maintenance of overlay power supply and distribution systems, both new and integrated into existing power systems.
- Good English level (Level B1).
- Proficient user of Office Suite and related construction softwares, Planning and Project
- Preferable residence in the cluster area
