eCommerce Assistant Manager

The eCommerce Assistant Manager is a business management position whose primary purpose is the maintenance and execution of ongoing site operations, reporting, marketing campaigns and channel reporting for websites under the Fanatics Authentic business. The Assistant Manager supports many aspects of the assigned web business(es) including, but not limited to: creative development and deployment, promotion set-up, reporting preparation and analysis, merchandising coordination, internal operations coordination and monitoring. The eCommerce Assistant Manager will utilize the portfolio of tools at their disposal, e.g. Trello, Spark, Tableau, Reporting Cubes, etc., to perform these tasks. The eComm Assistant manager should have a working knowledge of basic ecommerce operating principles, ecommerce operations, marketing tactics, KPI definition, report preparation, and basic data analysis. This position will also engage with our DTC and B2B Sales team on basic support including Coupon creation, website issue identification, marketing communication alignment, etc.

General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily site operation tasks, processes -at the appropriate cadence- in coordination with other business team members
  • Execute team's promotional and marketing strategy across sites
  • Utilize appropriate tools and communication channels to perform tasks
  • Ensure the timely compilation of routine and regular reporting of business performance for both internal and external communities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with product team and Growth Project Manager to understand key merchandise initiatives, product launches/drops and strategic priorities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with creative designers in the development of marketing assets
  • Execute “Hot Markets” for Memorabilia brand sites, including championship stories are effectively marketed the nigh of clinch
  • Engage with Product Administration, Customer Service, Channel Marketing teams and Business Intelligence teams as necessary
  • Develop working knowledge base of ecommerce and memorabilia business
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, or related field required
  • Ability to learn technology tools and processes quickly
  • Keen attention to detail, extremely organized and strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines, and demonstrates enthusiasm for sports and memorabilia.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel with the ability to sort and organize data using pivot tables.
  • Must be persistent and self-motivated
  • Basic knowledge of Internet technologies
