Distinguished Engineer Software

Distinguished Engineer wanted by FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC based in New York, NY. 

Software systems design, implementation, and delivery of critical core systems in highly ambiguous and significantly complex problem spaces across all engineering domains and throughout the organization. Evaluate and effect robust software solutions through strategic partnerships and M&A.  Act as the guiding force for the engineering leadership community defining the FBG technology suite and all critical systems and integrations. Act as a systems expert across domains and commonly identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and architectural pitfalls to introduce robust and scalable solutions. Actively engage with the broader technical community and evaluate modern industry trends to constantly challenge our way of doing things. Communicate ideas effectively to chief executives and achieve the right outcome for our domain and customer. Harmonize discordant views and build consensus. Contribute to intellectual property (e.g., invent, submit patents, etc.). 

Requires: 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the architecture, design and implementation of complex software systems, which includes 2 years in the job offered or as Technology Head. Requires 4 years of experience with the following skills/tools (which may have been gained concurrently): Java, AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka.

Salary $337,824.00 per year plus benefits.
