Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team

NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world’s best athletes. It’s a place where passionate individuals come together to create the future of sport. We are unapologetic about who we are and what we’re after—bringing innovation and inspiration to every athlete* in the world. We look for athletes who can push boundaries, elevate our potential and continue leading us to greatness. The next tastemakers, playmakers, risk takers and glue players. Are you game?

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Product Integrity plays a critical role in protecting Nike and the consumer by ensuring product issues are identified, assessed, and resolved quickly and effectively. As Director, Issue Management, you will report to the Senior Director, Product Integrity and lead a team responsible for navigating complex product issues across Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories. You will partner closely with Product Creation, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketplace Operations, GEO teams, and external manufacturing partners to drive enterprise-wide solutions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike sees every product issue as a chance to protect the athlete, strengthen the product, and elevate how we work. The Director, Issue Management leads at the center of complexity where product, process, and people intersect, and turns challenges into clarity.

This leader thrives in ambiguity and moves decisively when the path isn’t fully defined. They connect signals across the business, uncover root causes, and align diverse teams to act with speed and purpose. They influence without authority, communicate with precision, and translate complexity into clear, actionable direction. Equally important, they build strong teams by developing talent, creating accountability, and fostering a culture grounded in trust, learning, and continuous improvement.

This role demands enterprise thinking, strong technical problem-solving, and the ability to lead through high-stakes, high-visibility issues that span functions and geographies.

The candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • 9+ years of experience in Product Creation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Integrity, Quality, or a related field

  • Experience leading, developing, and coaching high-performing teams

  • Demonstrated success navigating complex, cross-functional issues across multiple geographies

  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to drive enterprise-wide decisions and outcomes

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead how Nike identifies, manages, and resolves its most complex product issues. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, align teams to act, and turn critical moments into long-term improvements that strengthen products and protect consumer trust.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop the Issue Management team, building capability and a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Own the end-to-end Issue Management operating model, from intake and prioritization through resolution and closure

  • Drive cross-functional alignment on root cause, corrective actions, ownership, and timelines to resolve complex product issues

  • Navigate high-stakes investigations with incomplete information, balancing urgency with sound decision-making

  • Establish governance, workflows, and decision frameworks that increase speed, consistency, and effectiveness

  • Translate issue data and trends into insights that inform business decisions and prevent repeat failures

  • Provide visibility to senior leadership on risk, issue patterns, and resolution progress to enable informed decisions
