WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As the Director of Process Excellence and Automation for Nike Direct Digital Commerce, you will be part of the Global Digital Operations team responsible for bringing the season to life across Nike’s digital channels in service of Geography partners. More specifically, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing both digital and enterprise-wide automation strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs. You’ll lead a team responsible for process optimization and deployment of automation tooling to power a faster, more efficient digital business and marketplace. You will work across Digital Ops functions and in close partnership with Digital Sport, Technology, Marketing, and Sales.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

  • 5-10 years proven experience in leading automation strategy and implementation.

  • Strong technical knowledge of various automation and AI technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Power Automate, AirTable, etc.

  • Experience with business process re-engineering and workflow optimization.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency managing technical projects and working with large cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of data governance and warehousing.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Key responsibilities include creation and execution of an operational acceleration strategy focused on process re-design/optimization and automation overseeing a team of process and automation professionals to drive continuous improvement, deployment of solutions, and adoption of new technologies.

  • Strategy & Leadership: Leads the development and execution of digital and enterprise-wide automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Process Optimization: Analyzes existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and improving quality.

  • Solution Design & Implementation: Oversees the discovery, design, and deployment of automated solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with standards.

  • Team & Stakeholder Management: Manages and mentors process and automation team, collaborates with Technology and other stakeholders, and fosters a culture of process excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Technology & Innovation: Stays current on emerging automation technologies, implements new tools, and educates and supports teams.

  • Performance & Governance: Establishes KPIs to measure process performance, monitors automation solutions, and ensures governance ownership and adherence to standards.
