Internal Job Title: Director, Responsible Supply Chain - Vietnam

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a Director, Responsible Supply Chain, in our Vietnam Partner Management Office, you will report into the Senior Director, Responsible Supply Chain, who is based at our World Head Quarters in Portland, USA. In this role, you will lead a team of sustainability experts with deep knowledge and experience in operationalizing strategy with manufacturing suppliers. You will collaborate closely with the broader Responsible Supply Chain leadership teams and build deep working relationships with colleagues in other functions across Global Supply Chain.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Responsible Supply Chain Director in our Vietnam Partner Management Office. We operate one of the largest supply chains in the world and work with partners that make and move Nike product worldwide, their leadership in sustainability is essential to ensure we meet our public targets. To be successful in this role, we need someone with deep expertise in defining and operationalizing strategies in global supply chains, preferably with experience in footwear, apparel and materials manufacturing.

The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and translate strategies into action with clear and aligned plans. They will be adept at cultivating and growing executive level relationships in service of shared growth & profitability. They will also drive collaboration between internal NIKE teams on sustainability strategy. Prior experience navigating and influencing in large complex organizations is critical.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • A minimum of 9 years directly relevant work experience in business and sustainability.
  • Management-level strategic planning and performance management experience required.
  • Strong business acumen and superior quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources.
  • Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills to convey complex information simply.
  • Experience in managing external partnerships and supplier relationships.
  • Proven people and team management skills with ability to deliver results through others.
  • High emotional intelligence with a successful history of networking and influencing without direct authority to mobilize internal and external resources.
  • Ability to see opportunities in a highly nuanced environment to make connections that will drive efficiency and alignment.
  • A results driven mindset with a record of accomplishment that shows you can deliver short-term wins on the journey to long-term change.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As the Responsible Supply Chain Director, you will be located in the Nike Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. You will focus on creating long-term value through the implementation of sustainability strategies that focus on Product, Planet and People. You will understand the cultural and economic environment in Vietnam. You will be fluent in sustainability, business and manufacturing, with a keen understanding of the footwear and apparel industries.
