The Director, Global DEI Operations is a strategic partner and operational leader responsible for maximizing the effectiveness, impact, and alignment of NIKE’s global DEI organization. This role leads planning, operational capabilities, insights, and execution across DEI initiatives, ensuring clarity of business objectives, optimized resource allocation, and measurable outcomes. The Directorwillcollaborate closely with DEI leadership, People Analytics, HR, Legal, and Communications teams.

Who You’ll Work With

DEI Leadership Team and Senior Director, Global DEI Operations and Partnerships

People Analytics, HR Business Partners, Legal, and Communications

ERGs, regional DEI teams, and external stakeholders

Senior executives, including C-Suite, for strategic presentations and reporting

Who We’re Looking For

Strategic thinker with deep DEI knowledge and strong business acumen

Proven experience in operations, planning, and executive-level communications

Strong program and project management skills with attention to detail

Experience in Chief of Staff or similar strategic roles preferred

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Skilled in data analysis, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resourcesor related field

Minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience

Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools

What You’ll Work On

Enable the Strategy

Build operational capabilities, infrastructure, rhythms, and planning frameworks that allow DEI strategy to scale and succeed.

Deliver insights, dashboards, and scorecards that measure impact and guide decisions.

Create and maintain playbooks, toolkits, and operating rhythms.

Track and report on key performance indicators and strategic effectiveness.

Ensure systems, partnerships, and access are in place to make DEI accessible and actionable for all teams.

Elevate the Storytelling

Craft compelling, data-driven narratives that make DEI work visible, resonant, and aligned with NIKE’s brand and values.

Lead the development and delivery of executive presentations, business review decks, and internal/external communications.

Support enterprise-wide DEI visibility and engagement through storytelling platforms.

Operations & Execution

Oversee global DEI operations, including process optimization and budget management.

Ensure seamless coordination across DEI initiatives and geographies.

Support readiness and activation efforts across retail, DCs, and corporate teams.

Track and monitorprogress vis a vis measures of success

Leadership & Enablement

Lead and develop a high-performing team

Facilitate communication flow and alignment across the DEI team.

Prepare DEI leadership for key meetings, public appearances, and board engagements.

Manage priorities and workflows to focus on critical initiatives.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
