Full Description
The Director, Field Support is tasked with leading a dynamic team to develop and implement strategic action plans for RBNA's retail initiatives, including new product launches, seasonal packs, special cans consumer activations, independent trade programs (VIP), and Distributor communications such as Meeting in a Box, Wingtips, and National Activation calls. This role requires close collaboration with Brand, Insights, Trade Marketing, Operations, and Finance headquarters' teams to ensure seamless alignment and execution of retail programs by Key Account teams and Distribution Teams in-store.
In addition to overseeing the Field Support Team, which packages retail plans into launch materials for RBNA's Key Accounts and Distribution (KAM / DPM) and RBDC / 3rd Party sales teams (GSM, DSM, ASM), the Senior Director of Field Support is responsible for managing the tools landscape used by field teams. This includes developing, enhancing, and managing tools to ensure best-in-class solutions and strategic long-term thinking.

COMMUNICATION
Develop and oversee the strategic direction for communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Align with leadership to own and manage the sales communication landscape and roadmap, ensuring cohesive messaging across all channels.
Guide the team in managing content for WingTips and digital screen deployment, ensuring effective communication across all channels.
Establish frameworks for National Activation Calls and internal distribution communications to enhance stakeholder engagement.
TOOLS MANAGEMENT
Own the field tools landscape and roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
Lead the strategic planning and enhancement of tools such as REP-execution initiatives and WingTips, ensuring they meet long-term objectives.
Oversee the development of innovative selling calculators and retail execution initiatives to support strategic goals.
Ensure the integration and optimization of tools like DRIVE/GET and MKAP DP packets to enhance operational efficiency (REM).
EXECUTION
Direct the strategic planning for product launch and delist execution, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational objectives.
Set executional standards for shelf, display, and coolers, driving consistency and excellence in retail execution.
Represent the organization in strategic discussions for national initiatives and executional planning, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Align with Key Stakeholders in Insights, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing, Operations, Finance to ensure retail plans are executable by the Key Accounts and Distribution teams
Ensure timely development of retail program material, providing the Key Account and Distribution Teams the materials they need to execute
LEADERSHIP, COACHING, AND DEVELOPMENT
Lead the team responsible for the development and communication of retail programs
Develop their skills and capabilities in working cross-functionally internally and externally
Ensure career development for the entire group through the focus of timely, specific, and direct feedback and coaching.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working within field sales strategy or sales & distribution program development
- 5+ years of experience in Key, Regional, or National Account Management and Distribution
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, beverage preferred
- Experience managing a Direct Store Delivery national distribution network
- Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, including presentation and facilitation abilities
- Strong knowledge of insights, marketing, sales, and distribution principles
- Experience in management consulting, working specifically on process reengineering, process optimization, and project management preferred
- Clear and proven ability to develop and implement process improvements on a national and Global scale
- Travel 20-30%
