Your mission

In close alignment withthe CBO, orchestrate the definition of PUMA’s futurebrandstrategy:

  • Translate the company’s overarching vision into abrandstrategythat wins consumers, strengthens brandequityand accelerates profitable growth 

  • Develop and introduce abrand-relatedinsights hubto inspire and accelerate strategic decision-making that reignitesbrand momentum(“think tank”) 

  • In close alignment withthe global brand leadership,facilitatethe development ofthe futureglobal brand positioning, architecture, frameworks,prioritiesand actionable execution plans/ toolkits

Lead by example todemonstrateexecution ofbrandstrategy: 

  • Identifyand manageselectedcross-category/ cross-functionalprojectsthatdemonstratehow thebrandstrategy should be execute acrosscategories/ markets 

  • Closelycollaboratewiththeglobal brandfunctionsthatareresponsible to ensure that thebrandstrategy is executedalongside the entire brand calendar andacross all categories / markets 

  • Collectbottom-up feedbackresulting from strategy execution and provide required strategic guidance / adjustment of future strategic direction 

Oversee CBO head office as tactical support: 

  • Act as a seniorsparring partnerto the CBO by orchestrating priorities,developingand tracking execution of initiatives and targets, managing operational rhythms, developing impactfulcommunicationsand handling ad-hoc or high-priority requests 

  • Be thedrumbeatof the CBO to plan, prepare and support key stakeholders, meetings /milestonesand initiatives 

  • Lead as “connector” of the Management Board area by effectively driving cross-functional / cross-categorycollaboration and communication

Stakeholder Communication & Management: 

  • Communicate withinternal stakeholdersfrom C-level to peers and operational colleagues across the organization to ensure their needs are met and questions are answered 

  • Presentcommercial strategies and frameworks to various internal parties to drive for high alignment and strategic clarity 

  • Drivestrong alignment and collaborationwith GlobalCommercialorganization, particularlyCommercialStrategy, ensuring frequent information sharing 

Team Management: 

  • Build and managehigh-performing global commercial strategy teamthat fosters a results-driven and collaborative culture 

  • Providestrong leadership, development, and supervision to the team, including the definition of clearobjectivesand resource allocation 

  • Fosterbest practice exchangesandmaintainclose relationshipwith wider Strategy, Transformation and Head Office teams.

Your talent

  • 10+ years of experience in sporting goods industry in strategicbrandroles 

  • Proven leadership experience in agile, fast-paced, international environment 

  • Consumer-centric strategic thinking & problem solving 

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding ofbrand building

  • Extensive stakeholder management abilities

  • Proventrack recordin managinghighly complexcommercial projects 

  • Excellent cross-functional influencing skills

  • Ability to translate insights into strategic direction.
