OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Corporate Real Estate Project Manager is responsible for managing real estate projects such as office fit-outs, relocations, lease renewals, and minor renovations. The role involves coordinating between internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements, supporting the company’s real estate strategy.
KEY RESPOBSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day execution of real estate projects including office fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations, and lease transitions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Facilities, HR, IT, Finance) to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, vendors, and landlords to facilitate project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, report status, identify risks or delays, and recommend solutions.
- Support lease negotiation and renewal processes by providing project-related input.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, health & safety regulations, and corporate policies.
- Assist in conducting site inspections, feasibility studies, and due diligence.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and prepare regular reports for management.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in project management within corporate real estate, construction, or facilities management.
- Good understanding of commercial real estate processes including leasing and construction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and contract management.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and sustainability standards is a plus.
