OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a Real Estate Project Manager focused on capital projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of CRE projects including roll outs of new systems, small office fitouts, office closures and everything in between You will work closely with senior stakeholders, contractors, and the wider CRE team ensure projects meet the vision, mission and objectives set out
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Project Planning & Coordination:
    •  Work with CRE stakeholders to bring together vision mission and objective for assigned projects
    • With the relevant business partner or CRE team Ddevelop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
  • Budget & Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
    • Manage tendering processes, negotiate contracts, and monitor ongoing expenditure to ensure projects stay within budget.
    • Ensure the Change Management has all they information needed for l financial reporting is accurate and submitted on time.
    • Raise any changes to the business for approval via pre agreed channels
  • Contractor & Vendor Management:
    • Manage contractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring they deliver on scope, quality, and deadlines in line with SLA’s and objectives set by the business partner.
    • Monitor and work with suppliers to ensure quality control and report any issues.
    • Resolve any issues with contractors and third-party vendors promptly.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks related to budget, schedule, and scope and work with the business to proactive steps to mitigate them.
    • Set reporting cadence
    • Maintain project documentation, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership & Communication:
    • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
    • Provide clear communication across all levels of the project, ensuring all parties are informed of progress, issues, and milestones.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams, local authorities, and other relevant parties.
  • Project Handover & Post-Completion:
    • Oversee the final delivery of projects, ensuring all elements are completed to the required specifications.
    • Conduct post-completion evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for future improvement.
    • Ensure all documentation, warranties, and compliance certificates are handed over to the relevant teams.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES​

  • Proven experience (minimum 5years) in project management, specifically within real estate or capital projects.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) would be an advantage.


TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

  • Experience managing a variety of projects within the CRE and Workspace field.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM).
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana ).
  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
