Full Description

At FIFA26, our vision is to unite the world through the greatest sporting event of all time. The FIFA World Cup 26™ will mark the first time that the tournament will feature 48 teams and be hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico and the USA. This new format will redefine excellence, generating unique opportunities for greater participation and engagement among fans and players across North America and all over the world. Now is your time to become a game changer and join the workforce that will plan and deliver this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.

Reporting organizationally to the Head of Workforce, the Workforce Recruitment Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the full life cycle recruitment operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ — a once-in-a-lifetime, high-volume global event involving 48 teams, 1,200+ players, and 16 host venues across three countries.

This is a high-intensity, high-volume administrative role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure. The coordinator will be expected to handle a large workload while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a consistent level of professionalism in all interactions.

This position demands a proactive, highly organized individual who can operate efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment — supporting multiple recruiters and workforce leads while ensuring that hiring, onboarding, and documentation processes run smoothly and on time.

This will be a 6-month temporary contract role.

  • Support a high-touch, high-volume candidate experience, maintaining professionalism and clarity even during peak recruitment periods.
  • Collaborate with recruitment managers and specialists to provide updates on candidate status and process progress.

Administrative & Logistical Execution

  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts quickly and effectively.
  • Prepare and organize recruitment documentation, interview materials, and onboarding resources.
  • Track and manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Support logistics and administrative coordination for onboarding, training, and tournament-time deployment.
  • Assist in the organization of recruitment-related events, workforce briefings, and planning sessions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, Workforce Planning, and Functional Area teams to align on hiring priorities, processes, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and venue teams to support personnel readiness ahead of tournament phases.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, helping streamline high-volume administrative workflows and improve documentation standards.
