The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Glasgow 2026 team as a Content Producer — a fast-paced and hands-on role where you’ll shape how the Games are seen and remembered around the world.
As part of the Content and Design team, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging and meaningful video content that captures the energy, diversity, and spirit of the Games.
You’ll work across departments to plan, shoot, and edit brilliant video content for digital platforms, social media, internal communications, and more. From athlete interviews and city build-up stories to campaign content and Games-time highlights, you’ll bring our narrative to life through powerful visual storytelling. Working in partnership with the Social Media Manager and Head of Content, you’ll ensure our tone of voice and visual identity is consistent across platforms.
You’ll be confident self-shooting, editing, scripting, and delivering video content from concept to final production. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and external creatives, bringing fresh energy and high production standards to every project. If you're a multi-skilled video creator with a knack for human stories and fast-turnaround content, this is your moment.
Job Summary:
As Content Producer, you’ll report to the Social Media Manager and work as part of the wider Marketing, Communication and Engagement (MCE) division. You’ll support Glasgow 2026’s digital and creative strategy by producing compelling video content for a range of channels, including social, website, newsletters, and internal communications. You’ll be responsible for capturing stories, coordinating shoots, managing media assets, and ensuring accessibility and brand alignment across all video outputs.
Key Skills and Experience:
You’ll bring proven experience in video production, ideally within sport, live events, or agency/in-house creative teams. You’ll be confident across the full production lifecycle — planning, scripting, self-shooting, editing, and delivering final content.
You’ll have an instinct for good stories, editorial judgement, and an eye for detail. Your experience producing video for social media and digital platforms will help you craft content that engages, inspires, and informs audiences. You’ll understand the importance of accessibility, inclusivity, and content best practice — and you’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where every day brings something new.
Experience with digital asset management (DAM) tools, working with internal stakeholders and external partners, and keeping up with social trends and audience behaviours is essential. A passion for Commonwealth sport and an understanding of Games-time demands will help you succeed.
