Full Description
The Consumer Collecting Manager is responsible for building the local face of Red Bull in their field in the most relevant way and in line with the global and national strategies and priorities. They build strong local networks both online and offline in universities. They create and implement marketing initiatives within Student Marketing, Sports, Culture and Communications. They leverage sales opportunities and encompass local needs and specificities and therefore impact the heart of local consumers, ultimately leading to the successful development of the business. The Consumer Collecting Manager is constantly out ‘in the field’ to make things happen, this is not an ‘office’ job.

Strategic Direction
Infuse global and national priorities, strategies and the Red Bull philosophy in the field, including universities and sales outlets near unis.
Ensure top-notch understanding of the consumer in various fields.
Define and execute ideas and programs which build brand image and increase understanding of the product functionality, especially in universities.
Deliver the annual approved business plan for the region.
Local Pride
Support all relevant local key events, scenes and marketing opportunities.
Build a top-notch network and sustainable relationships with local key influencers.
Ensure that every consumer experience with the brand is a positive one!
Marketing Innovation
Understand the latest generational trends by being close to our consumers.
Create new and innovative ideas that bring the brand to life, tapping into local networks and scenes.
Ensure digital and social media sit at the heart of every field marketing activity.
Enabling Structure
Source, hire, train and manage a team of FMSs who fit the brand.
Set regional objectives and clear goals to ensure accountability.
Identify and nurture key talent for the potential space-to-shine opportunity.
Team management.
Driving Efficiencies
Develop and manage the regional budget.
Build smart and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Coordinate with agencies and specialized companies.
EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 5 years marketing experience preferably in sports/events or culture marketing or in the field.
- Minimum 3 years experience of line management with expertise in hiring, training, administration and motivating teams.
- Ideally, experience in working with commercial teams – general sales or trade marketing.
- Proven background in negotiation and management of budgets.
- A ‘connector’ who has excellent communication and networking skills, who can open doors and excite people for an idea.
- Strong leadership, planning and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of youth culture in sports and culture in the region.
- A creative marketer with depth in brand understanding, innovation at the heart who puts new ideas into practice fast.
- Ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional teams with different objectives and personalities.
- Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing, including presenting and training abilities, and the ability to seamlessly blend in with a diverse audience.
