JOB TITLE: Conference and Events Executive

DEPARTMENT: Venues and Hospitality – Non matchday

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, London

CONTRACT: Permanent, Full Time 

JOB FUNCTION: To coordinate events held at Stamford Bridge

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  •      Coordinating, event management and delivering events. Leading and planning with venue stakeholders & suppliers. Management of all legal documentation (RAMS, health and safety, safeguarding).
  •      Account manage and build relations with clients, club partners including event contractual rights and support internal club events and CFC Foundation events.  
  •      Manage all event costs and pricing. Ensure deposits and event payments are made and any debts are chased in a timely manner.
  •       Lead on site appointments with Clients/Operations/Suppliers when required.
  •       Ensure Dynamics/CRM is being used correctly and inputting accurate records. Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of club facilities & event spaces, ensuring up to date room availability and capacities are shared with team and CRM diary.
  •      Drive and maximise revenue at every opportunity by suggestive selling and upselling.
  •      Make sure invoices are accurate and sent in timely manner
  •      Collect H&S and Safeguarding polices in relation to events, (IOSH, Risk Assessments, CDM)
  •     Championing ED&I, developing & improving ED&I across events.
  •     Championing sustainability and environmental across events.

 

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

  •      High customer satisfaction levels as measured by customer feedback minimisation of customer complaints
  •      Maintaining minimum of 28% profit conversion on Food and Beverage
  •      Accuracy of BEOs and CRM input
  •      Keeping the debts to minimum 

 

Qualifications:

  •      IOSH (Health and Safety)

 

Experience:

  •      Experience working in events at large venue
  •      Commercial awareness with attention to yielding of business and maximising profit
  •      Experience working in a corporate environment

  •      Confident in customer facing situations – with personnel of all levels
  •      Ability to inspire customer trust and confidence
  •      To be able to think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements
  •      Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required
  •      Excellent attention to detail
