THE POSITION

The Commercial Analytics Manager will work closely with Commercial Directors and analysts to drive the sportsbook commercial strategy, and act as liaison with stakeholders to ensure that it gets properly implemented across the organization. At the same time, they will be responsible for deriving business and customer insights, spotting trends/criticalities, opportunity sizing, and reporting periodically to the leadership team. This role will be responsible for ensuring we deliver a best-in-class generosity (promotions) experience, both in terms of how we distribute generosity and what generosity product features we deliver to our customers. This role will cover both the strategic vision as well as the operational implementation of the strategy/insights/products.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Help lead a cross-functional program of work from strategy formation through to day-to-day implementation
- Refine key commercial metrics of success and collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize these across the organization
- Assist in prioritizing and rolling out the most impactful generosity mechanics and experiences, working alongside our product stakeholders
- Optimize our generosity distribution strategy to maximize perception and customer engagement at optimal cost
- Rigorously experiment with new generosity mechanics/experiences and optimize them to create a more personalized experience for customers
- Analyze the effectiveness of expenditure, and provide recommendations for improvements
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Sportsbook experience in a strategic / commercial / analytical role is required
- Strategic mindset: takes a long-term view and anticipates future trends and implications
- Commercial acumen: advanced understanding of P&L, business principles and commercial levers
- Professional expertise with SQL and Excel is required, data visualization a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to drive the business to a higher level of profitability
- Collaborates: is a team player - works with various teams across the organization to understand their needs and get things done. They can influence KPIs and decision making across a broad range of teams.
- Presents clearly and with impact to a wide range of stakeholders and keeps stakeholders updated with relevant and timely information

The applicable salary range for this position is $112,000 - $Y140,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
