Full Description

Cheshire FA are looking to recruit for a Head of Business Operations to lead on the day-to-day functioning of the County FA, as they continue our work on the 2024-28 Business Strategy, and key operational deliverables.

 The successful candidate will be able to work at a fast pace as part of the Senior Leadership Team in driving the strategic and operational direction of the County. You will also be a pro-active, dynamic and agile individual who is able to multi-task with a ‘can do' attitude and supportive approach, to ensure that the whole team at Cheshire FA is able to achieve maximum success throughout the course of the strategy.

Responsibilities

Business Operations

  • To ensure the successful functioning of day-to-day Business Operations of the County FA.
  • To work collaboratively with the Head of Facilities & Football Development and Football Development Manager on the operational delivery of Football Development and Facility matters.
  • Establish a culture of customer excellence across the business.
  • Support the CCFA Board, CEO and SLT in the timely and efficient discharging of their duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the CCFA Board, CEO and SLT to produce a forward plan of meeting schedules which meet the needs of CCFA.
  • Lead on the day-to-day safe opening of CCFA Offices, including meeting all necessary Health & Safety and legislative requirements.
  • Have strategic oversight into the partnership between Cheshire FA and Sport Integrity Matters, ensuring day-to-day operations are functioning as required.
  • Provide a clear work programme from the Football Administrators which supports all areas of the business.
  • Prepare papers for Board Meetings.
  • Minute-Taking for meetings across the organisation including the Board.

 Business Strategy

  • To work collaboratively with the CEO, Head of Facilities & Football Development and Football Development Manager on the strategic delivery of Football Development and Facility matters.

Marketing & Communications

  • Map out and implement the CCFA Marketing & Communications Calendar.
  • Act as the lead point of contact with Oporto and eSports Media to ensure maximum effectiveness of the marketing provision of CCFA.

Business Development

  • Create sustainable relationships with commercial partners.
  • Develop opportunities for investment and sponsorship with partners.

Customer Excellence

  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the successful implementation of CCFA's Freshdesk and Telephone System, maintaining high standards.

Safeguarding

  • To act as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer.
  • As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer, support the Safeguarding Manager in ensuring CCFA is following all requirements of The FA Safeguarding 365.

Health & Safety

  • In collaboration with the Facility Manager, monitor and manage the Health and Safety status of the company and facilities.
  • In collaboration with the Facility Manager, ensure an appropriate maintenance schedule for the CCFA HQ is followed.

Other

To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required by CCFA.
