Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Main Responsibilities:
- Manager Support: Report directly to the “Security Villages OFH & IOC Events Manager” and assist in managing the Olympic Villages during “off-events” days;
- Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop security plans for the ceremonies and Olympic events, including risk assessments, threat analysis, and emergency plans;
- Security Supervision: Oversee security measures at event venues, including access control, crowd management, and emergency response protocols;
- Coordination: Coordinate with law enforcement, private security companies, and other stakeholders to effectively implement security protocols;
- Risk Identification and Prevention: Identify potential security risks and implement preventive measures to safeguard participants, spectators, and resources;
- Emergency Preparedness: Ensure readiness for emergencies, such as medical incidents, natural disasters, or security breaches;
- Communication: Communicate security guidelines to staff, volunteers, and participants;
- Incident Management: Manage security incidents during events, including evacuation procedures and crisis management;
- Human Resources Management: Coordinate the recruitment, training, and evaluation of security personnel. Promote a positive and motivating work environment, fostering the professional growth of team members.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Italian is required;
- Degree in Security, Event Management, or a related field;
- Proven experience in managing security for large events, preferably in Olympic events;
- Excellent communication and coordination skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions;
- Knowledge of local and international security regulations.
