  • Housekeeping duties around garages and storage areas
  • Lifting and moving items such as fertiliser bags, chemical tubs, goal frames, and grass boxes, requiring a good level of physical fitness
  • Opportunities for further training in mower and aerator operation, and use of other grounds maintenance equipment depending on performance

All casual staff will receive full training in manual handling and basic health & safety.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support fixture and training session coverage at the stadium and training grounds
  • Help maintain pitches to professional standards all year round
  • Carry out tasks to a high standard, supporting the wider grounds team
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues and other departments
  • Learn to use available resources effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain personal records for HAVs monitoring  when using vibrating machinery
  • Demonstrate professional conduct at all times, representing the club positively
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and approachable demeanour with all staff

The Person:

  • Hardworking, with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work unsociable hours in line with football fixtures and training schedules
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ideally experienced in or familiar with Health & Safety guidelines, with a focus on staff wellbeing
  • Aware of environmental best practices
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of housekeeping and equipment care
  • Proud of maintaining a clean, tidy, and professional workspace
