Full Description
Role Purpose:
Assists with Category Ranges, Price & Supplier Strategy, and support in the delivery of sales and profit.
Responsibilities:
· Maximise supplier/ category profit & sales.
· Work with suppliers/licensees & brands to build deeper commercial relationships to deliver strategy
· Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
· Range Plan Management
· Work with suppliers to ensure all relevant information is complete
· Product Management
· Manage samples, CADs & images
· Photo shoots guidance
· Invoice queries
· Manage size guides
· Product Queries
· Product Presentation Collation
· Work with suppliers & buyers to collate all information
· Launch Planners & Calendars
· Deliver range presentations
· Support Launches
· Site Checks
· Support Market Research
· Complete competitor analysis
· Review sales information
· Seek out gaps & opportunities
· Undertake any other duties and/or responsibilities as may reasonably be required by management from time to time.
You may also be required from time to time to work additional hours including but not limited to providing support around events and hot markets. This may involve weekend and late night working
Knowledge & Experience:
· Some buying or retail experience beneficial but not essential
· Knowledge of sports product/ industry is preferable
· Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships and influence
· Analytical & numerical skills essential
· Ability to problem solve, suggest better ways of working & contribute to projects
· Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
· Able to Thrive in a High-Stress and Fast Paced Environment
· Passion, Drive & Determination
· Ability to work with Internal & External Customers in a way that is appropriate to them
