Job Title – Business Controls Transformation Senior Analyst
Location – London/Dublin
Hybrid  - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

At Flutter we are embarking on an ambitious global finance transformation programme over the next three years. The Business Controls Transformation Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the delivery of elements of the ICFR pillar of the global finance transformation programme, as well as supporting the other finance transformation pillars (e.g. finance ERP implementation) by providing ICFR input and insight. The Business Controls Transformation Senior Analyst will report to a Business Controls Transformation Manager or Senior Manager.

What you’ll do

  • Contributing to regular project management reporting prepared by a Business Controls Transformation Manager or Senior Manager.
  • Highlighting potential challenges or necessary revisions to scope, timetable, resources, or dependencies.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities within specific elements of the ICFR project plan, such as process changes or control automation.
  • Collaborating with IT Controls Transformation peers and the Internal Controls team to support the delivery of specific IT elements of the ICFR project.
  • Preparing briefing documents for the Group’s external auditors on the ICFR project plan elements you are supporting.
  • Collaborating with internal teams led by Divisional CFOs and CIOs, and other Group Functions, to drive necessary changes and address their concerns.

How you’ll do it

  • Your success in this role will be driven by your:

  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, allowing you to support the delivery of multiple workstreams to both short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate work status and potential risks that could impact timetables or costs.
  • Proven ICFR skills covering one or more business processes, whether at a group level or transactional level.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant status with PCAOB audit experience and/or experience in business internal controls within professional services or industry roles. (0-1 years PQE)
  • Experience in auditing ICFR or supporting the delivery of ICFR activities on a day-to-day basis.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience in betting, gaming, or online entertainment businesses is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of IT contributions to ICFR, including IT general controls and automated controls.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and deliver change effectively.
