Job description

The Broadcast Solutions Engineer bridges the gap between commercial sales, product development, engineering, and operational delivery.

This role is responsible for designing and supporting technical broadcast solutions across graphics, augmented reality, live production, data integration, and software workflows. The position works closely with clients, operations, engineering, and commercial teams to develop innovative, scalable, and commercially viable solutions for broadcasters, sports organizations, and production partners.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical broadcast knowledge with excellent communication and presentation skills, helping translate complex workflows into compelling customer-focused solutions.

Job requirements

  • Experience in live broadcast, broadcast graphics, sports production, or broadcast technology
  • Strong understanding of live production and graphics workflows
  • Experience with technical solution design and client-facing presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and proposals

 
Desirable

  • Experience with:
    • Vizrt
    • Unreal   Engine
    • Stype / RedSpy tracking systems
    • Data-driven   graphics systems
    • HTML5   graphics workflows
    • Remote/cloud production technologies
    • Sports data integrations
  • Knowledge of AR and virtual production workflows
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and product ownership practices
  • Experience supporting major sporting or live broadcast productions

Job responsibilities

Pre-Sales Technical Support

  • Partner with Sales teams to qualify opportunities and understand customer requirements, workflows, and operational pain points
  • Design and present technical solutions for:
    • Broadcast graphics
    • Augmented and Virtual reality
    • Live production & Remote production workflows
    • Broadcast Graphics Software integrations
  • Prepare and deliver:
    • Technical presentations
    • Workflow diagrams
    • System architecture documentation
    • Product demonstrations
    • Proof-of-concept solutions
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients, systems integrators, and technology vendors
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise messaging for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

 
Solution Design & Documentation

  • Develop solution architectures, scopes of work, and technical proposals
  • Support RFP and tender responses through:
    • Technical documentation
    • System designs
    • Workflow mapping
    • Pricing and effort estimations
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Software Development teams to validate technical feasibility and compatibility
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of:
    • Broadcast standards
    • Industry technologies
    • Production workflows
    • Internal products and capabilities

 
Product Development & Product Ownership Support

  • Provide operational, technical, and commercial insights to support ongoing product development across the company’s product suite
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to identify new product opportunities and workflow improvements
  • Gather customer feedback, industry trends, and operational requirements to help shape product roadmap priorities
  • Contribute to feature definition, workflow design, and usability improvements based on real-world live production environments
  • Support development of scalable and commercially viable solutions across:
    • Broadcast graphics
    • Augmented and Virtual reality
    • Data-driven graphics
    • Control systems
    • Remote production workflows
  • Assist in defining product positioning, capability messaging, and go-to-market support materials
  • Provide subject matter expertise during product testing, validation, demonstrations, and rollout phases
  • Act as a bridge between customers, operations, sales, and development teams to ensure products align with market and operational needs

 
Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Provide ongoing technical expertise during customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and site visits
  • Build trusted relationships with broadcasters, production companies, leagues, rights holders, and technology partners
  • Support industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Gather customer feedback and operational insights to support continuous improvement and product innovation

 
Internal Support & Enablement

  • Train Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams on new technologies, workflows, and product features
  • Develop technical training materials, documentation, and reference guides
  • Support post-sales handover to implementation and operations teams ensuring all technical requirements are clearly documented and understood

Assist in building reusable proposal templates, workflow documentation, and solution playbooks
