The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Senior Account Manager, Formula 1 Properties will play a key role in one of our largest Brand Consulting clients. The Senior Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management and activation of marquee Formula 1 properties within the brands portfolio. The candidate will interface day to day with the client and will work cross functionally with internal/external vendors, clients and agencies. Lead direct client and property relationships
The Department

Responsibilities
- Lead across all Formula 1 Properties including league, team and race/event partnerships and serve as the main point of contact for client for Formula 1 Properties
- Day to day management of existing league, team and race/event partnerships including communication directly with properties, organization of project plans, asset tracking documents and approvals
- Assist with recommendation, negotiation and management of F1 talent/property deals
- Leads client calls and provides expert opinions as well as client presentations for F1 projects and activations
- Manages multiple projects/properties and budgets, as well as all budget development, tracking & reconciling
- Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
- Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met
- Develop and deliver compelling written and verbal communications
- Develop relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities to client
Requirements
- BA or BS strongly preferred or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience within Sports and/or Formula 1
- Ability to travel and be onsite at events
- Established relationships with properties and entities in the Formula 1 world
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
- Expertise in managing projects and budgets
- Excellent presentation skills
- Previous experience with managing and developing junior staff members
- Project management expertise
- Sustain relationships with clients and grow the business
- Understanding of the client's industry and latest developments
Preferred Skills
- Formula 1 experience and understanding
- Previous experience in the Formula 1 Industry, at an Formula 1 Company, or at Brand/Agency focused within Formula 1
Location
Based out of the Los Angeles or New York offices. This role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $95,000-$120,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
