Purpose of Role

The Associate Channel Merchant – Factory House drives and delivers merchandising strategies tailored to the respective channel business, category or gender. This role strategically focuses on our DTC channel, particularly our Factory House business. You'll be instrumental in enhancing Under Armour's presence through tailored merchandising strategies crafted for our direct-to-consumer business. The Associate Merchant supports the delivery of a line plan to meet consumer and account needs while ensuring alignment with financial goals and growth opportunities. The Associate Merchant works crossfunctionally throughout UA to inspire a collaborative and supportive operating environment and be a consensus-builder who drives results.

Your Impact

• Develop line plans that meet respective channel requirements and align with financial targets and channel growth opportunities.
• Assist with and drive improvements in SKU productivity and efficiency across the respective channel.
• Assist in the management of marketplace operations. Implementing segmentation and exclusivity strategies aligned with channel objectives.
• Partner with Global Product, Product Merchandising and Regional Merchandising teams to share insights and identify new growth opportunities and potential revenue streams.
• Support Go-to-Market initiatives in partnership with Marketing, including seasonal storytelling, investment priorities, and product launches.
• Partner and lead a team of cross functional experts assigned to the same Youth Apparel function that include a Planning, Allocation, Operations and Visual Merchandising partners.
• Analyze market shifts and performance metrics to inform strategic adjustments and ensure agile responses to business trends.
• Present channel business results at cross-functional meetings, fostering consensus and relationships with key partners.
• Operate and maintain Merchandising systems (Trasix, line plan documents,etc.) for the business unit.
• Contribute actively to advancing merchandising excellence within UA through a combination of strategic direction and hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience or typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree.
• Previous experience in a Product Management or Merchandising position.
• Proven ability to develop profitable merchandising strategies and collaborate effectively across internal teams.
• Decisive and resolute in decision-making, even in ambiguous situations.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

 $73,897.56 - $101,609.16 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
