The Role:
We are looking for aManager, University Relations,to join our rapidlygrowingteam of college and youth marketing enthusiasts. As aManagerfor our University Relations team,you willbe responsible forfacilitatingmeaningful interactions between brands and students on college campuses acrossNorth America. You willbe responsible fordeveloping and nurturing collaborative relationships with key campus contacts,andactively contribute to the success of client projects, playing a key role in all disciplines from strategic development to execution.
KeyResponsibilities:
Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business, marketing goals, and programobjectives,identifyinghow to enhance the student experience through clientwork
Develop solid business relationships with key campus contacts, learning the ins-and-outs of each assignedschool
Partner with team members fromClient Services team (Boston-based) toexecutethe needs of each client andprovidecampus-specific recommendations for marketing tactics andactivations
Assistin managingclient program execution, including but not limited to budget reconciliations, reporting metrics, and wrap reports,identifyinglearnings and future opportunities for enhancementsto ensureclient success
Serve as a liaison betweencampus contacts, program lead, and/orclients to develop and execute on-campus marketing activations thatbenefitbothparties
Manage and coordinateexecution ofon-campus client activations by overseeing event planninglogistics,including but not limitedto:locations, contracts,invoicing,permits, etc.
Track all campus learnings and activities in Salesforce by creating,updatingandmaintainingaccuratedocumentation of communications and events
Leaddaily workflow of client projects to ensuretimely, economic programexecution
Produceclient-facing reports by gathering qualitative and quantitative programdata
Research higher education institutions, including campus trends, policies, procedures, event opportunities, campus contacts, etc.serving as a resource to the broaderNext Genteam
Leverage university research and trends toassistin new business development,participatein agency brainstorms to help develop new, creativeways toengageNext Genconsumers, etc.
Contribute to agency culture by activelyparticipatingin building positive internal relationships andmaintainingenthusiasm toward day-to-day tasks and agency passionpoints
Perform other duties, asassigned
Qualifications& Skills:
Bachelor’sdegree in marketing,business,communicationsor a related field
0-3years of related work experience, ideally with exposure to events and experiential marketing
Ability to travel to events
Strongentrepreneurialspirit witheagerness tolearn and growin a fast-pacedenvironment
Values and respects the importance of organization and time managementfor effectivemultitasking
Customer-service focuswithoutstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
Creative thinker that is willing to think‘outside of the box’ for the right solution(s)
Self-motivated with proven ability to think quickly and problemsolve
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Salesforceand Asanaa plus
Experience in higher education a plus
