THE·TEAM is seeking a proactive individual to play a key role within the Asia team, supporting the development and delivery of client partnership activation and events across the Asia Pacific region.
The role requires strong client servicing, project management and stakeholder coordination skills, supporting account leads across multiple work streams and projects. This individual will be based in Singapore, and will be working on regional client programs focused on sport, music, and entertainment.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Associate Director/ Account Lead on developing overall client strategies, with strong contribution to ideation and execution
- Independently manage day-to-day client relationships, establish credibility, and anticipate client needs
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions in fast-paced environments
- Coordinate internal and client meetings and mandatories that align with the agency scope of work
- Interrogate clients briefs leveraging Wasserman expertise to drive additional value, fostering idea generation and innovation
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure delivery against defined KPIs
- Develop an excellent understanding of our client strategies, brand objectives, market and key competitor threats
- Support the wider Asia team on new business including proposal development and RFPs when required
- Act as a key point of contact across projects, ensuring clear communication between clients and internal teams
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support junior team members on project delivery
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2 to 4+ years’ experience in Marketing / Events / Account Management (preferably in the sport and entertainment field)
- Strong client servicing experience, including relationship management, account management, strategic planning
- Proven experience in creation and execution of brand experiences including, but not limited to, mid to large scale events and activations, guest experiences, digital, social and creative campaigns
- Strong organisation and time management skills, ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- Excellent presentation skills (both writing and developing), internally and to clients/ partners including use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage teams and projects, inspire others and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with a strong attention to detail
- Experience working in market and established industry/vendor network
- Understanding and interest in the sports and entertainment industry is preferred
- Additional Asian language is an advantage
