Job Overview:
Wasserman is looking for an Associate Manager to support one of our key retained clients as it prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This role will be critical to the management and delivery of key rights delivery workstreams in the lead up to the event.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with team members all over the world, has a track record of successfully managing parallel needs in a timely manner, demonstrates professional communication skills and has a proficiency in traditional client management, data systems and presentation software such as Monday.com, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
This is a fixed term position with an end date of July 31st 2026.
What You'll Do:
This role will join our FIFA partnership management team and be expected to support the following workstreams and general account servicing needs.
Partnership Governance
Together with members of the FIFA partnership management team, play a central role in tracking, monitoring and leading the approval request process as assets utilizing FIFA IP prepare to go to market.
Collaborate with team members on updates to a centralized digital playbook designed to help keep key stakeholders up to date with partner requirements and event details.
Oversee the process for approving requests for public viewing and leading communications with teams seeking sign off.
Support across the broader accreditation process leading up to and during the tournament time frame
During the tournament timeframe, help support the management of more urgent approval requests and timely communications with clients and property partners.
Hospitality Programming
As needed, play a support role to the broader hospitality and ticketing workstream as it relates to coordinating needs around merchandise and gifting.
General Account Management
Support development of daily briefing documents and match recaps throughout the duration of the tournament.
Collaborate with the FIFA partnership management team on all meeting requests, recapping key conversations and decisions, status updates and general project management tasks.
Serve as a cross-over resource if required on other partnership deliverables across experiential activations in key markets.
What We're Looking For:
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in sponsorship and/or partnership marketing
Direct experience in the sport, entertainment, or marketing / partnership sector
An open and inclusive mindset with the flexibility to take on a range of responsibilities and challenges
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, specifically in the form of data-visualization, analysis, and written deliverables.
High level of initiative and innate curiosity, adaptable to high performance in both an independent and team setting
Strong attention to detail and highly organized, with a proven ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills particularly required for PowerPoint and Excel
A basic understanding of project management tools like Monday.com and SharePoint.
Base salary range: $70,304, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
