Job Description
As Wasserman Live expands in Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Production & Logistics Manager to lead the seamless execution of production and logistics deliverables across our growing portfolio of sporting and major event experiences.
This role will oversee end-to-end production and supplier management, coordinate logistics movements, and ensure high-quality delivery of branding, signage, fabrication, and hospitality fit-out solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strategic oversight with hands-on capability — confident in the warehouse, on-site, and throughout the full production lifecycle, managing every-thing from supplier quotes to final installation.
KEY OBJECTIVES
· Ensure flawless, on-time, and on-budget delivery of all production and logistics elements
· Source and implement high-quality, cost-effective production solutions that maximise margin and exceed client expectations
· Keep Wasserman Live at the forefront of innovation in branding, signage, fabrication, activations, and event environments
· Manage and maintain inventory, warehouse assets, and in-house printing re-sources
· Build and sustain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, excellent service, and quality execution
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Asset & Inventory Management
· Oversee the full lifecycle of event assets and signage inventory (storage, maintenance, quality control, and stock rotation)
· Identify investment opportunities in new assets that add client value and create new revenue
Supplier Management & Production Execution
· Lead supplier relationships from quoting and confirmation through to on-site de-livery
· Collaborate with internal teams to meet creative, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
Logistics Coordination
· Manage logistics bookings and execution across live projects
· Ensure safe, efficient, and timely transport, bump-in/out, and handling of materials and equipment
Production Innovation & Market Awareness
· Stay up to date with local and global trends in fabrication, sustainability, and pro-duction techniques
· Apply innovation to enhance delivery and quality
Pre-Production & Planning
· Translate creative concepts into feasible and costed production plans
· Provide logistical and technical foresight in the planning phase
On-Site Oversight & Execution
· Manage on-site logistics, crew scheduling, WHS protocols, and install/de-rig timelines
· Travel as required to support key events and builds
Cost Management
· Develop and track detailed production budgets
· Identify cost-saving measures and opportunities to drive margin improvement
Sustainability & ESG Practices
· Promote sustainable sourcing, reuse and recycling of assets, and responsible production practices
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
· Strong project management capabilities with digital tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana)
· Exceptional prioritisation, time management, and multi-project coordination
· Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
· Technical knowledge of materials, printing, and fabrication processes
· Experience in production facilities or print shops highly advantageous
· Hands-on technical skills including operation of in-house print equipment
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Proactive, solutions-oriented team player and leader
· Familiarity with WHS, risk assessments, and site compliance
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· 5+ years in a production or logistics role within events, sport, entertainment, or experiential marketing
· Experience managing event builds and fit-outs (e.g., signage, hospitality areas, custom structures)
· Comfortable managing temporary and permanent infrastructure
· Exposure to sponsorship and brand activations with tier-one clients
· Forklift license or construction/event certifications (e.g., White Card) preferred
· Practical experience in print production, fabrication, and equipment operation a strong advantage
