Your Talent
- University Degree in Accounting
- CPA is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office; Advanced skill in Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong skills in SAP
- Has 10 years in Tax and Accounting Industry (Audit Firms & Multinational Companies)
- Has at least 5 years of leadership experience
- Exceptional communication skills, professional in both written & verbal
- Must be well versed with Philippine tax laws and regulation
- Must be familiar with international financial accounting standards
- Keen attention to details/quality commitment
Your Mission
The Assistant Manager Tax is responsible for the overall tax-related activities of the company, ensuring compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting.
>Tax Compliance and Reporting
• Manage compliance on monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting on VAT, Withholding Taxes, Corporate income tax, ensuring that reporting is done on timely manner to avoid tax penalties.
• Maintain tax schedules, reconciliations and working papers on a monthly basis
• Perform monthly internal tax health checks on sales, importations, and purchases to confirm tax compliance and provide opportunity to rectify areas of non-compliance at an early stage.
• Review contracts/agreements and act as tax advisor to internal stakeholders
• Responsible for the quarterly tax reporting package submitted to the Global Tax team.
>Tax Audits
• Manage tax audits and point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors
• Manage statutory audits with external auditors
>Ad hoc projects
• Coordinate business permit requirements to various business locations and local government units
• Lead CAS application of ERP system
• Lead process and systems improvement projects related to tax and compliance
>Train and develop direct report to ensure delivery of functional roles
