MUSIC·TEAM is a leading global agency representing prominent artists across all genres for live performance, touring, brand partnerships, and beyond. We are long-term career development strategists who work with artists to expand their reach and deepen their impact with audiences around the world.

The role will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Artist Services & Business Development group for the MUSIC·TEAM. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing communications, preparing pitch materials, and conducting market research on artists, campaigns, collecting and curating artist information and partnerships.

This position is based in-person in our NY (Financial District) office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and update pitch materials for top clients (bios, one-pagers, timelines, etc.)

  • Build client and project pitch decks for high-level opportunities

  • Post and share new opportunities across the company; collect, organize, and cross-check submissions for pitches

  • Conduct market research on artists, campaigns, and partnerships

  • Build recaps for non-touring wins for internal and external communications

  • Maintain accurate artist information across internal systems (questionnaires, pricing, pitch details, etc.)

  • Track and organize deal flow and prospective partnerships across non-touring lanes

  • Help maintain partner databases and tracking grids/calendars relevant to the department

  • Take notes on artist and agent team calls; organize action items and follow-ups

  • Track contract status and unpaid fees; liaise with Accounting and Business Affairs as needed

  • Assist with invites and guest lists for priority shows

  • Support digital and social requests, as well as events and activations

  • Schedule and confirm meetings

  • Book agent travel and submit expense reports

  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about the music and entertainment industry. 

  • They should have 1-2 years prior experience in an assistant role at a management company, record label, brand or music agency. 

  • Digital marketing, creative or design experience helpful.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and confidentiality

  • Work requires excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines across a large, diverse roster of artists. 

Base salary: $47,500 plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

  • Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
