The Team

  • Fanatics Betting & Gaming, a mobile betting, gaming, and retail sportsbook platform.

FHI employees are expected to be on-site 4 days per week. We also offer the unique benefit of allowing employees to temporarily work remotely up to 20 days per year based on business levels.

The Role

Fanatics is seeking an AR Collections Supervisor responsible for leading a team in B2B collection of receivables. This individual will be responsible for leading the team to ensure customer payments are received within terms, while protecting the organization against risk and bad debt exposure.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of multiple AR Analysts and Senior Analysts in the day to day management of the portfolios of B2B customers, including Fortune 500 companies, Big Box retailers, Professional Sports Teams, and Leagues.
  • Build relationships with key Fanatics customers and internal departments, including Sales and Customer Service.
  • Review work of staff to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Provide guidance, establish expectations, and follow up on results.
  • Strategic thinking that extends beyond daily operational tasks.
  • Provide leadership to staff related to customer and interdepartmental communication, as well as research and timely resolution of customer requests.
  • Work with external customers to establish payment plans to resolve aged outstanding items.
  • Organize collection workload for associates.
  • Enhance and report on departmental KPIs and metrics.
  • Analyze and identify root causes of customer payment barriers and work with cross functional teams to reduce/eliminate recurring issues.
  • Act as a liaison between customer and internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, and Customer Service) to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Assist in creating detail reporting (weekly/monthly) to leadership and team members.
  • Collaborate on testing project implementations and onboarding new lines of business.
  • Able to independently problem solve and be persistent bringing issues to conclusion with minimal input.
  • Ability to handle the most complex and/or detailed customer issues.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Must be a team leader with a positive attitude.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, trust, and connection-building across all levels, ensuring a dedicated service culture.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the AR/Credit Department

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to build solid working relationships with both internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of AR experience preferred or 8+ years of high-volume AR experience with high school diploma.
  • Prior people manager experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Hybrid role – M-TH in Tampa office, F Work from Home
  • Clear and effective professional communication skills with all levels of management.
  • Strong ability to analyze information and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
