Full Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; gather inputs from stakeholders and ensure data accuracy.
- Support the month-end close process to ensure financial accuracy.
- Update and maintain financial models and templates under guidance from senior team members.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare routine financial reports for leadership, highlighting key trends and variances.
- Maintain and update financial models related to labor, product margin, sales, and operating expenses.
- Provide financial support to operations teams, including basic training and analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate performance drivers, new initiatives, or operational changes.
- Track and monitor capital expenditure and technology budgets for accuracy.
- Collaborate with merchandising and operations teams to assess financial impact of promotions and pricing strategies.
- Maintain and improve existing reports, scorecards, and data sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Help identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related functions (experience with technology or IVR operations preferred).
- Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings in a straightforward way.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
