As an AI & Innovative Tech Governance Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing governance frameworks that ensure secure, compliant, and standardized adoption of emerging technologies. This role will oversee lifecycle management, risk controls, and operational standards for AI models and agents, and blockchain platforms. You will enable innovation while safeguarding compliance, security, and transparency across all initiatives.

THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Define and maintain governance policies, standards, and procedures for AI and blockchain.
- Accelerate AI-driven innovation by shaping a clear vision for AI’s role in delivering strategic value, collaborating with executives and key stakeholders.
- Foster cross-organizational alignment and build an internal and external AI ecosystem, including partnerships with vendors, research institutes, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Establish a world-class AI strategy aligned with enterprise objectives, including goal setting and performance measurement for AI initiatives.
- Define operating models and delivery capabilities to engineer and operationalize AI initiatives, ensuring scalable and seamless integration across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements across all platforms (together with the data protection team).
- Oversee lifecycle management for AI models, AI agents and blockchain applications, including deployment, updates, and retirement.
- Establish standardized frameworks for risk assessment and mitigation related to emerging technologies.
- Monitor and report on governance KPIs, compliance status, and technology adoption metrics.
- Facilitate governance forums and decision-making bodies for emerging technology initiatives.
- Provide training and enablement programs to ensure teams understand governance processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT security, legal, and business units to align governance with organizational objectives and regulatory obligations.
- Chair the AI Governance Board and evolve responsible AI policies to address regulatory and ethical requirements such as data usage, model explainability, fairness, and privacy.
- Cultivate AI literacy across the enterprise through training, change management, and transformation programs.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Strong understanding, experience and knowledge of AI technologies and blockchain platforms.
- Expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIST, EU AI Act, etc).
- Experience in defining policies and operational standards for emerging technologies.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in IT governance.
- Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration between technology, compliance, and business teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executives.
- Familiarity with lifecycle management tools and governance dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to define strategic goals, give clear directions and drive standardization.
- Ability to manage different stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to change the status quo and defend the proposed changes.
- Ability to act as an effective facilitator.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic insights.
- University degree or similar higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English; Proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset.
- Good knowledge in PowerBI, Monday.com, Project Online and ServiceNow are an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in AI and Blockchain technologies, others are an advantage (eg.Quantum)
