Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are looking for Accreditation Operations Specialist.
The identified resource, who will be joining our Accreditation Team, will be responsible for:
-Support the Accreditation Operations Coordinator in developing the accreditation operations plan, which would include competition and non-competition venue. During the event this person will be assigned to one or multiple specific venues depending on the venue operation plan.
-Develop Venue Zoning Diagrams, Access Control Dot Planning documents. Actively participate in and engage in the Event Operational Planning (EOP) sessions. Collaborate with other operational areas to achieve the best possible results in terms of planning, operations and services.
-Act as a representative and spokesperson for the accreditation functional area in EOP sessions by sharing information, policies and procedures. Be ready to present and communicate the accreditation process and general operational guidelines.
-Ensure accreditation services are provided within the required service level across all competition and non-competition venues. Share information and plans with the accreditation function as necessary to ensure awareness and readiness.
Support the Accreditation Operations Senior Manager as required.
Coordinate and train venue accreditation managers. Support the accreditation team and accreditation system manager in configuring the Access Control System (ACS).
-Provide support in development/planning and implementation of the internal Accreditation Operational Projects such as the Policies and Procedures, Supplementary Access Control Devices (SACDs) Plan, Guest Pass, Procurement Process, etc.
-To plan, develop and implement the necessary training to their Accreditation Specialist, Volunteers and any additional stokehold that need accreditation support.
Operational Phase
Be responsible for an Accreditation facility during the Event. Manage the accreditation volunteers at a FA and Venues levels, providing them all the necessary training and support as per their needs, including create their roster for the Games.
Requirements
·Accreditation or other relevant experience at a coordination level in at least one other global multi-sport event.
·Proven project, risk and business management skills, and a working knowledge of project management tools.
·Proven ability to coordinate a team.
·Proven ability to manage a multi-layered project independently and support the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
·Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments.
·Proven competence in preparing presentations and training teams and volunteers.
·Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
·Ability to manage high workload via effective time management and use of resources.
·Highly numerate, good IT (Information Technology) skills, detail-conscious and well-organised.
·Italian and English (full professional proficiency), other languages a plus.
·Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
·Knowledge of accreditation systems, database management.
